Had the smoked turkey sandwich w/potato salad which was very as expected! But bought a Vanilla Rum Cake which I would give a 4.5 out of 5. It was pretty good!

I haven't been to the Honey Baked Store since daddy died 3/2016 he and I are the only ones who liked it the most and I couldn't bring myself to buy it without daddy but my daughters boyfriend asked for it and here I am picking one up. I didn't make a reservation and that was a huge mistake as always the lines are long and packed you would be cray cray to not pre order one online This shop is right near the Lakewood Mall on Candelwood located on a busy street with limited parking in the lot. Pull up hope to find parking wait in a line darn near wrapped around the back of the lot no worries they take all the people who prepaid and the line is constantly moving they run that line like Chick Fil A and it went fast. Inside it's spotless and smells fantastic the staff are busy smiling and running around getting whatever you want and desire you go up in line double check what you want they bring it to you the you pay and boom you're out of there. I wanted sliced ham they sell it by the pound but ran out minutes before I got there I settled on the smallest ham available it cost $58 I had no choice and it smelled so fragrant I wanted a sandwich I purchased Hawaiian rolls I'll get dessert next time. Thanksgiving morning I warmed up the ham and packed a huge plate for my daughter's bf the ham was salty and sweet tender and delicious I really enjoyed it with my homemade potato salad and the rest of my dinner it had just the right amount of saltiness and sweetness then I wrapped up all the leftover ham and other food for her bf and he was happy. I no longer have mom or daddy to enjoy Honey Baked Ham which was a favorite of them both so I'll take my memories of us all enjoying it as a family and treasure them I will definitely buy ham next year and try out some desserts as well. This place is still always the best. I have tried Costco's spiral cut ham and there's no comparison. It's worth it to go to Honey Baked, the service is good, you can order ahead online and there's much more than just ham. You won't be disappointed.

We got a 9 lb. ham for Thanksgiving. I had very fond memories of my Dad always getting a large ham for Christmas morning and for Easter. I hadn't had it for 20 years and wanted to bring that same quality and flavor to my in-laws this year at our Thanksgiving and was so happy to see there were still stores and one was in nearby in Lakewood. THE GOOD The staff is extremely helpful and patient. I called first to see how the process worked and then I had to call again to change my pick up date. Both times the staff was patient, helpful, and very professional, even though they probably repeat the same things over and over all day. Getting in and getting out of store was super easy and the staff was well organized. They are on top of it. The taste is great and just like I remembered on the outer crust and initial pieces. THE BAD As you get further into the ham, the spiral cut stops being as defined and you don't get easy, thin pieces anymore. You start to get large chunks that don't fall off the bone easily, or don't fit into a sandwich easily. The price! Omg the price. For a 9 lb. ham (feeds 15-20 people) it was $90. It was great, but it wasn't $90 great. I started comparing prices at local supermarkets for spiral cut, fully cooked hams and they were 1/2 to 1/4 of that price. I think in the future I would just buy one of those and get a honey glaze recipe off the Internet to finish it off. There was a line out the door, so they are still very popular for a ton of people for a reason. Just a little above what I'm willing to pay for a ham.

11/25/22 I really love Honey Baked ham. For me there's no taste like it. Today I decided to pick some up. Love that from one day to the next it's like a ghost town here. Well, I just mean that today, there's no mole long line to buy or pick up your Turkey or ham & it took less than 5 minutes to get my transaction done. I'm in & I'm out! Staff are friendly & amiable.
